- מַגִּידm. (נָגַד) speaker, preacher. Pes.52b (play on Hos. 4:12 ומקלו יגיד לו) כל המיקל לו מ׳ לו whoever makes it easy for him, is his preacher.Pl. מַגִּידִים, constr. מַגִּידֵי. Erub.53b, v. עֲלָטָה.
